Life Secure has been The leader in Multi-life/Group LTC for a few years now. They recently decided to focus on just that with their LTC business. We ourselves have seen a huge increase in Multi-life LTC sales with our own agents in 2016 due to not only LifeSecure’s program and product design but also the advanced tools and multi-life sales system we have developed and perfected over the years.
If you have groups on the books then you should look seriously into adding multi-life LTC to your game plan for 2017. Don’t let a lack of time, knowledge, or recourses deter you from capitalizing on those sales. We have the systems and support you need to be successful including an enrollment and sales support team.
As for individual LTC sales with LifeSecure, you must get your applications in prior to October 31st to be accepted. As stated above, LifeSecure is focusing on the group market which is their strength. At the same time they are diversifying their portfolio. The suspension of individual sales for now is to assist in that diversification slowing down their sales slightly to allow their Hospital Recovery & Personal Accident plans to grow in sales as well as an upcoming Combo/Hybrid Life/LTC option take root. Sales are strong and LifeSecure will be a strong company now and into the future. With a growing portfolio and focus on the group/multi-life market we are excited to see what’s to come next!

- Oct. 31, 2016: Last valid day for LifeSecure’s individual LTCi applications to be fully data-entered and submitted online – no later than 11:59 p.m. ET (8:59 p.m. PT).
- Nov. 1, 2016: Sales of LifeSecure’s LTCi product in the individual LTCi markets will cease and no further individual applications will be accepted.
